Metering Division
The Metering Division employs over 60 R&D and technical personnel, equipped with comprehensive advanced testing facilities and a CNAS-certified laboratory, ensuring the company’s capability to research and develop metering products tailored to market demands across various countries and regions. The company is a member of the national metering industry standards committee and actively participates in the formulation of multiple national and industry standards.
The division operates in a dust-free cleanroom environment, featuring fully automated production lines and equipment, including an intelligent electronic components warehouse, AGV-based smart logistics systems, fully automatic SMT and DIP production lines, as well as fully automated calibration, inspection, and packaging lines. With high levels of digitalization and system integration, the factory achieves efficient, low-carbon operations, producing up to 5.4 million single-phase smart meters and 800,000 three-phase energy meters annually.

With a robust management system and reliable product quality, the division has obtained international certifications such as DLMS, KEMA, STS, and G3-PLC, ensuring its export products meet global market standards. It has successfully expanded into overseas markets across more than 20 countries, including Germany, Argentina, Malaysia, Laos, Vietnam, Ghana, and Uzbekistan.
Transformer Division
The Transformer Division is a core business unit of Chongqing Huahong Instrument Co., Ltd. As the largest electricity measurement enterprise in western China, the company’s transformer products have consistently ranked among the top three in national grid and southern power grid centralized procurement programs, making it a key supplier for both major grids.
The company has been honored with titles such as High-Tech Enterprise, National Intellectual Property Advantageous Enterprise, and Chongqing Specialized, Refined, Unique, and Innovative Enterprise. Its project “Key Technologies and Applications for Quality Foundation of Distribution Transformers Used in Metering” won the Second Prize of Provincial and Ministerial Level Science and Technology Progress Award. Collaborating with institutions such as Chongqing University and Southwest University through industry-academia-research partnerships, the division continuously drives technological innovation and has filed patents including “High-Voltage Power Transformer with Enhanced Clamp Strength” and “Power Transformer Preventing Cable Loosening.” A CNAS-certified laboratory equipped with complete inspection and testing equipment ensures consistent and reliable product quality.

Focusing on the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of power transformers, the division offers current and voltage transformers across multiple voltage levels, including 10 kV, widely used in metering, monitoring, and protection applications within power systems. Customized solutions are provided for diverse application scenarios, meeting the varied needs of power grids and industrial users. The division operates a modern production base equipped with advanced machinery and automated lines, such as transformer winding machines, ensuring high production efficiency and product consistency. Strict adherence to quality management systems enables full-process quality control from raw material procurement to final product delivery, guaranteeing compliance with national and industry standards.
The division has established a nationwide sales and service network covering 31 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions, providing stable product supply and technical support to State Grid, Southern Power Grid, and local power companies. Actively expanding into international markets, the division has launched a joint venture with the Energy Agency of Uzbekistan and initiated cooperation with Vietnam in transformer projects, steadily advancing its presence in global markets. Customer-centric, the division delivers comprehensive services ranging from product selection and technical consultation to installation, commissioning, and after-sales maintenance, responding swiftly to customer needs.

Components Division
The Components Division currently employs over 20 R&D engineers and is equipped with complete development and testing facilities. It collaborates with several renowned laboratories on joint testing initiatives and has established industry-leading type evaluation and reliability assessment systems.

The division has over 140 production staff and has built a state-of-the-art fully automated production line, achieving unmanned operation in critical processes such as winding, soldering, impregnation, and testing. Annual production capacity now reaches 30 million units for miniature transformers, power frequency transformers, and high-frequency transformers.
With a mature organizational structure and high product stability, the division maintains a defect rate below 50 ppm. The device products comply with IEC, CE, UL, TUV, and ROHS standards and requirements, and are widely used in instrumentation and other electronic products across more than 20 countries, including China, Germany, France, Argentina, Malaysia, Laos, Vietnam, Pakistan, and others.
