    • Resins: Key raw material for urea-formaldehyde (UF) and melamine-urea-formaldehyde (MUF) resins (used in plywood, particleboard, MDF, adhesives, coatings, textiles).
    • AdBlue/DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid): Aqueous urea solution (32.5%) used in Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems to reduce NOâ‚“ emissions from diesel engines (cars, trucks, ships, power plants). 
    • Feedstock: For melamine, barbiturates, hydrazine, some plastics, and flame retardants.
  3. Cosmetics & Skincare: Moisturizing agent (keratolytic properties) in lotions, creams, and dermatological treatments (e.g., for eczema, psoriasis).
  4. Laboratory & Medical: Denaturing agent for proteins, osmotic diuretic (historically), stabilizer in vaccines.
